Glosperse 5045 is used in the treatment of recirculated cooling water for scale inhibition and prevention of fouling by insoluble salts.
Glosperse 5045 is used in the treatment of boiler feed water to inhibit scale and to control sludge accumulation. Glosperse 5045 may also have an advantage over natural organic sludge conditioners in that as they are colourless, colour contamination is thus avoided where steam is used for processing purposes, eg. in textiles or pulp - paper bleaching.
Recommended dosage is 4 - 10 ppm active polymer.
